Today, Obama declared open class warfare upon evil millionaires and billionaires. But let’s see what we get for squeezing the successful a little bit more:
- The core of the Obama’s plan totals just more than $2 trillion in deficit reduction over 10 years [new revenue + mandatory spending cuts]
- Plan calls for a total of $4 trillion in deficit reduction (by adding about $1 trillion in spending cuts already enacted by Congress and counting about $1 trillion in savings from the drawdown of military forces from Iraq and Afghanistan)
